Kellie Martin is an American actor and actress on television and film. She is most well-known for her performances in the roles of Christy Huddleston on the historical drama'Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama "ER". Also, Kellie is well-known for her role as the lead in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin started her acting career at the age of was seven. The aunt of her mother, who was the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children, was a big help in landing her one small part on the TV show Father Murphy. After graduating of Yale University she began to take acting seriously and landed roles on the small screen and big. Martin was also as a dancer and photographer. She is a mom of two, and also the official spokesperson for Lupus. Since her sister's tragic death at the age of 19, Martin has worked to educate people about the condition.
